Training activities

Students of the 2nd year of the pediatric faculty are study at the department and undergo communication skills on the 1st semester; students of the 2nd year bachelors undergo propaedeutics of children diseases and communication skills on the 1st semester.

Students of the 3rd year medical and pediatric faculties undergo propaedeutics of children diseases and clinical skills in the 2nd semester. 3rd year students of the Faculty of Stomatology undergo Pediatrics on the 2nd semester. Clinical residents and interns are also study at the department. The main aims of teaching the propaedeutic of children diseases is to obtain complete information about the APF of organs and systems, methods of investigation, semiotics and the syndrome of the disorder of various organs and systems, as well as feeding of children under 1 year old and over 1 year old. Pediatric- study of basic childhood diseases, communication skills - teaching of communicative relations between a doctor and a patient.

Clinical skills are including – collection of anamnesis, anthropometric indications, examination technique and interpretation of laboratory and instrumental research methods.

Classes with students are held in 3 languages (Tajik, Russian and English). According to the curriculum, students in a single test center pass intermediate final tests (ratings) and an exam at the end of the academic year.

For providing of educational work of the department, it constantly carries out activities for the preparation of teaching aids for students of all faculties, as well as for interns and clinical residents. Every year, work programs for all faculties are reviewed, and standard programs are approved every 5 years.

For last 5 years have been prepared: Educational devices – 4, 39 methodological recommendations - in Russian, Tajik and English languages, presentation on all topics of lectures for students of medical, pediatric and stomatological faculties, as well as for bachelors.

Prepared:

800 exam tests have been prepared for students of the medical, pediatric faculties and 2 year bachelors (in 3 languages) on propaedeutics of children diseases.

400 tests for 3 year students of the Faculty of Stomatology on Pediatrics (in 2 languages).

400 tests for students of the 2nd year of the pediatric faculty and bachelors on communication skills.
