Department Achievements

The organization of the Department of Endocrinology contributed to the comprehensive training of students in medical, pediatric and general medical faculties, subordinates, masters, interns and clinical residents. Passing training of students at the City Medical Center with the presence of endocrinology departments for adults and children allows us to study endocrine pathology in the age aspect, to improve the development of practical skills. A significant help in the study of discipline, starting from the neonatal period, and ending with senile age, is the coordination of activities with the departments of pediatric and therapeutic with a gerontological course profiles. Close contact with the Republican and City endocrinological centers allows us to study the basic principles of ambulatory care for endocrine patients. The most important task of the department for training future specialists is the participation of students in the methodology of teaching patients with diabetes mellitus, the principles of self-control. This allows not only to familiarize students with the recommendations of the WHO and the International Diabetes Center, but also to consolidate their practical skills, to promote their active participation in the implementation of the National Program for the Fight against Diabetes.
