Mother’s Day in Tajikistan has been celebrated from 2009 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon. “The image of the mother was and remains the epitome of all holy and eternal for our nation for centuries”, repeatedly emphasized E. Rahmon in his speeches.
