The leader of the nation – the guarantee of peace and national security

In the context of globalization and the impact of negative geopolitical processes, each state needs forces that are able to unite the people in solving state problems. In my opinion, the most important unifying factor of the nation in the Republic of Tajikistan is the President of the country Emomali Rahmon, who from the first days of his presidency has made great achievements and thus gained the fame of the people of Tajikistan, the region and the world.

Mehmon Bakhti, the Leader of the Nation, wrote of the first moments of his political career: “These pulpit efforts are having a very tragic outcome. Brethren, come to your senses and imagine the bloody, dangerous and fragmented future of Tajikistan. Do you not see behind the scenes the games of the enemies of the nation? Enemies who have been thirsting for our blood for centuries, conquering the rest of our land and imagining our ancient history. These efforts of our group and region are incompatible with the sacred values of patriotism and the unity of the nation. "This deputy was Emomali Rahmon.”It was no coincidence that Emomali Rahmon came to the political arena, as the Leader of the Nation had previously demonstrated his eloquence and organization during his time in Parliament, and since then the people have shown his ability to govern. observed. “First of all, Emomali Rahmon has long been famous for his eloquent and logical speeches. The eloquence and logic of his speech had a powerful effect, and even in the most intense moments of our people's struggle from the sacred pulpit of the Legislative Branch, the truthfulness of the law was unequivocally expressed to colleagues, and thus the people were indignant, they have done their work. ”

The election of the Leader of the Nation to the post of the Head of State was the result of the hard work and achievements of Emomali Rahmon during the most difficult years of the Tajik statehood - 1991-1992. Therefore, if we say that destiny brings individuals to the political arena, the answer is incomplete, because it is impossible for any person to succeed in politics without courage and other qualities, which Farobi called the twelve innate qualities. During these difficult years, the Leader of the Nation gained the most important factor in governing the state, and that was the support of the people. The Tajik people were in favor of a political system that would ensure the security of the people, the economic development of the country and the maintenance of peace. Of these, the people of Tajikistan chose the institution of the presidency, and there were several reasons for this:
- first, the fact that parliamentary disputes, which have become a hotbed of debate between different parties, have not been able to resolve important state issues;
- second, the people, after years of fruitless inter-party struggle, needed a strong institution of governance to ensure the development of society.

In addition, in the early 1990s, as a result of so-called democratic processes, the image and authority of state bodies declined, and mass unrest ensued. Therefore, in order to correct these mistakes, it was necessary to have a strong governing body, which the people saw in the presidential administration. Now a person had to take responsibility for the difficult tasks of the transition period. However, it should be noted that before the election of Emomali Rahmon to the post of Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, until September 1992, two presidents of the newly independent Republic of Tajikistan prematurely resigned. Kakhor Makhkamov was removed from office by members of parliament using the institution of impeachment, and in September 1992, President Rahmon Nabiev was forced to resign by force, which was used against him by the militants. In both cases, respect for the electorate was violated, and a belligerent minority was able to overturn the majority vote. Therefore, the Tajik people were well aware of the difficulties of 1992, and everyone was concerned about how the young President could stabilize the civil war and ensure the economic development of the devastated state. On November 6, 1994, the Constitution of the sovereign state was adopted, on the basis of which the Republic of Tajikistan chose a presidential form of government. However, the experience of the years of independence has shown that the choice of the Tajik people was a historic choice, because the political vision of President Emomali Rahmon allowed to implement unfulfilled plans such as peace, construction of the Kulob-Khorog-Kulma road, Rogun, Buston-Chanak. , the construction of hundreds of schools and universities, and other works that were impossible to accomplish in the midst of a severe economic crisis.

In these difficult circumstances, the most important initiative of the Tajik leader was to bring peace to the suffering people. In April 1995, before leaving for talks with Tajik opposition groups, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, told the Interfax news agency: "First and foremost, I will discuss issues related to the peaceful settlement of the Tajik issue, including the ceasefire and the return of migrants still on Afghan soil." The Tajik peace talks, led by the Leader of the Nation, began on April 5, 1994, and ended on June 27, 1997, with the establishment of the Commission on National Reconciliation. Both sides agreed that the only way out of the current situation and to preserve the independence of Tajikistan is to sign peace and national unity. During this period, the head of state repeatedly stated that "conflicts between Tajiks should be resolved by the Tajiks themselves, the competent representatives of these people, who are passionate about their people and country."

During the leadership of the Tajik state, the Leader of the Nation will make every effort to unite the nation on the path to building a prosperous society. "The president will only rely on the public, because speaking out in the interests of one group or another will destabilize society." We must protect the interests of the majority, but we cannot ignore the interests of the minority, nor can we discriminate against them. So, let's take into account that the most important issue for us is peace and national unity. ”The author of the book“ State Policy and National Unity ”analyzes a certain period of efforts, initiatives and initiatives of the Leader of the Nation and calls it the President's political school. The speeches, reports and speeches of the Leader of the Nation are truly a university for politicians, scientists, scientists, intellectuals and young people, and will undoubtedly remain among the best speakers of the world in various books and media. "Recognition of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan as the Leader of the Nation testifies to the fact that the people of Tajikistan are at an important stage of transition, during which successive changes of government will only destabilize the country's social balance."

The course of changes in the country proves that Tajikistan is in a period of transition and statehood, and one of the most important factors in this period is to ensure a peaceful and stable life in the country. At the time of independence, the Republic of Tajikistan, under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation, was able to determine its state structure in the context of a severe political crisis.

During the 30 years of his presidency, the President of Tajikistan has proved that he deserves the title of Leader of the Nation, because with his people in a short history he was able to turn Tajikistan into a state with a developed economy, cultural and spiritual civilization.
