On October 29, 2020 at the Department of Public Health and Medical Statistics with the course of the history of medicine ATSMU in accordance with the approved plan of educational lessons dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan was conducted seminar on the topic «The role of Constitution of Republic of Tajikistan in protecting the indepence of the state» with 2nd year students of 1-2 curatorial groups of the medical-prophylactic faculty.

The head of the department Juraeva NS, teaching staff Komilova G.I., Mahmudova D.Sh., Nuriddinova N.N., Komilov I.Sh., Isroilova Z.S, curators: Saidova S.N., Mamadaminov O.N., Yusufzoda P.A., took part in the seminar and also students actively participated. The seminar was organized by the curator of the 2nd group Sharifzoda F.J., responsible for educational work at the department.She congratulated the students on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan and said that it is a great honor for each of us to celebrate the Constitution Day in our independent Republic on November 6th every year and the our Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of our country Emomali Rahmon said: «Our political goal is to build a democratic state based on the rule of law. In this regard, the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan as a high-ranking document of the nation and a pillar of lasting peace and unity will be our eternal guide» .

One of the great achievements of the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan is the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan in 1994. Today, the honorable people of Tajikistan live in a peaceful atmosphere of the Motherland and with a high spirit of patriotism and pride in the independent national statehood. It was also noted that we, the people of Tajikistan, are an integral part of the world community, consider ourselves responsible and accountable to past, present and future generations, recognize the sovereignty of our state and its development, sanctify the freedoms and rights of the individual and have equal rights. Recognizing the friendship of all nations and peoples, and making it our mission to build a just society, we will adopt and declare this Constitution.

Then the 2nd year student of the 1st group Zaripov Khudoidod made a report on the topic "The Constitution is a sacred and fateful act of the nation" and made a few remarks on Articles 14-47 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Article 14. The rights and freedoms of man and citizen shall be protected by the Constitution, laws of the Republic, and international legal instruments recognized by Tajikistan.

The rights and freedoms of man and citizen are directly exercised. They determine the purpose, content and implementation of laws, the activities of the legislature, the executive, local authorities and their local government and are ensured through the judiciary.

Restriction of the rights and freedoms of a citizen is allowed only for the purpose of ensuring the rights and freedoms of others, public order, protection of the constitutional order and territorial integrity of the republic.

Article 47. During a state of emergency, the rights and freedoms provided for in Articles 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 25, and 28 of the Constitution shall not be restricted.

The legal system of a state of emergency is determined by constitutional law.

At the end of the seminar, the of the department of education Sharifzoda F.J., called students to patriotism, self-knowledge, respect for national sanctities and observance of state laws, and wished lasting peace and unity in the Republic of Tajikistan.
