The seminar on the topic «Fight against human immunodeficiency virus» has conducted at the Department of Public health and Medical Statistics with the course of History of Medicine with the second year medical students on November 11, 2019. The seminar was dedicated to the international day of the fight against HIV AIDS.

The seminar was opened by the head of the department Juraeva N.S. She told students about the history of this day and mentioned that the purpose of the seminar is to increase knowledge about the human immunodeficiency virus.

After that the second year student Sharifzoda Mehrob, made pretention about «HIV/AIDS – causes, transmission paths, prevention and treatment». On the same matter, Guljamol Sangmadzoda presented about «Prevalence HIV/AIDS among different population Republic of Tajikistan» . In her presentation, she showed data on the prevalence of this disease, by region, gender and among the most vulnerable groups.

During the seminar students and participants discussed transmission paths and prevention HIV/AIDS. It was emphasized that everyone should protect their health and contributes to the health of society. At the end of the seminar, an intellectual quiz was held among students to consolidate the material, where the most active students were rewarded with gift.
