The educational hour was held on the theme: “Terrorism and Extremism is a great threat to humanity” with students 1,2,3 th and 4-2nd curatorial group of the 2nd course of the Public Health faculty the Department of Public Health and Medical Statistics with a course in the History of Medicine ATSMU on April 15, 2020.

The seminar was opened by the assistant responsible for educational work at the department, curator of the 3rd group D. Mansurova. She noted that the fight against terrorism and extremism is not only the task of the state, but also the duty of every citizen who loves his country. Then Pirakova Mohihuroson the students from the 3rd group made presentation on the topic “Terrorism and extremism”, which revealed the significance of terrorism and extremism and its prevention. Mahmadullozoda Ziyodullo – student of the 2nd group also made presentation “Terrorism and extremism - a modern tragedy”. In his speech, he also noted that Tajikistan, along with other countries of the world, is taking all measures in this direction. To this end, a number of laws and regulations have been approved in the Republic of Tajikistan that contribute to an irreconcilable fight against the negative manifestations of extremism and terrorism.

The seminar ended with discussions and exchange of views of students and teachers on this topic.
