Scientific activity

The research work of the department was focused on the implementation of the state order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tajikistan, taking into account morbidity and mortality, as well as other features of children's infectious diseases - this is the development of problems of viral hepatitis and intestinal infections (rotavirus infection, intestinal amoebiasis, typhoid fever). Since 2008, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and in coordination with the department of science of the university, the scientific developments of the department are aimed at studying "Malaria in children." One doctoral and one candidate dissertation is currently being carried out on this topic. The department conducted scientific work in collaboration with leading clinics and research institutes of the former USSR (Ivanovskiy D.I Virology Research Institute, USSR Academy of Medical Sciences, St. Petersburg Scientific Research Institute for Children's Infections, Latvian Hepatology Center - head of the center, Professor A. Bluger, etc. .) and the republic (Scientific Research Institute of Gastroenterology, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Hygiene (now Scientific Research Institute of Preventive Medicine). The staff of the department are participants in the All-Union and All-Russian congresses of infectious disease specialists, pediatricians, and republican congresses, conferences of infectious disease specialists, pediatricians, immunologists and allergists, conferences on epidemiology, environmental protection and infectious diseases. The staff of the department annually takes part in the annual scientific and practical conferences of TSMU, regional (regional) scientific and practical conferences of pediatricians, infectious disease specialists and family doctors on topical issues of children's infectious pathology. The results of scientific research formed the basis of more than 950 scientific articles, theses, 58 guidelines, 12 rationalization proposals, one doctoral and 11 master's theses. In addition, the results of scientific research of the department are widely implemented in the activities of medical institutions of the republic, as well as beyond its borders.
