Scientific work

For last 60 years, the department maintained the continuity of studies devoted to influence of environmental factors on the tissues of the body. The study topic at the department currently is “Features of skin aging on a background of nature-social factor of Tajikistan” 2016-2020 yy.

Z.N. Sohibova and T.P.Niyatbekova are finishing their doctoral dissertations. Partnerships with following institutions were established to conduct the studies: Physics and technology institute named after S.U. Umarov AS of RT (Tajikistan); Institute of botany, physiology and genetics of plants of AN of RT (Tajikistan); Turkmen medical university (Turkmenistan); Institute of botany of Turkmenistan (Turkmenistan); Institute of botany and phytocenology of Almaty (Kazakhstan); Siberian botanical garden, Novosibirsk (Russia); Institute of biology of internal waters named after Papanin of the Yaroslavl region, Borok (Russia); Moscow State University (Russia); Institute of geography and ecology, Urumqi (China); Institute of geography and ecology, Gansu (China); University of Hauf (Israel); University of Oslo (Norway).

Student’s scientific society is active on the department for a long time. Staff of the department and some active students are the part of this society. The reports of these students made on yearly scientific-practical conferences of young scientists and students of the republic and on scientific forums of students were encouraged by diplomas and valuable presents.
