Scientific activity

The tasks of training specialists with higher education determine the communicative and practical nature of the course - correction, formation and development of speech skills of auditing and speaking - dialogue and monologue speech, reading and writing (Ability to understand information on hearing, reading, inspection and referrals of literature in the specialty in Russian, preparation of scientific reports and reports, participation in discussions, registration of business papers: applications, autobiography, receipts, protocols, power of attorney, etc.). The department for many years is the main base for language training of comprehensively developed and highly cultural specialists for abroad.

The main focus of the research work of the department was the work on the topic:

"Improvement of modern methods of development of professional Russian speech of medical students using innovative methods in conditions of credit training" and "Relationship of foreign language learning in conditions of bilingualism."

Teachers of the department wrote more than 100 scientific and methodological articles, which were published in magazines and newspapers of the university and other universities.

In 2013, Mukhamadieva Z.A. defended her PhD thesis on "Comparative Analysis of Terms of Marriage Relationship in English and Tajik." It published more than 40 scientific and methodological articles and manuals.

High qualification and scientific training of the staff of the department contribute to the expansion of forms of work with students.

The employees of the department during its years of existence protected 5 candidates and one doctoral thesis U.R. Yuldoshev in 2000 (Moscow).

Every year students of ATSMU take an active part in city and republican Olympiads in Russian and English, occupying worthy places.

Internal and international collaboration

The department has established cooperation with the Departments of Russian and English Language of the National University of Tajikistan, Tajik-Russian Slavonic University, ATSPU, TSIL named after S. Ulugzade on exchange of experience and creation of joint scientific, methodological and pedagogical projects.

Practical training of specialists is based on close contact with the Department of Russian Language of the Moscow Medical Academy named after S. Sechenov, the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences of the Russian Federation.
