At the Department of Foreign Languages ​ ​ of the SEI "ATSMU" from March 1 to 6, 2021, a student scientific and practical conference was held dedicated to Mother's Day "Holy Position on Earth." The conference was attended by students of the 1st year of all faculties and curatorial groups.

The student scientific and practical conference dedicated to Mother's Day was opened by the head of the department, Professor U.R. Yuldoshev. He congratulated the students on the upcoming holiday "Mother's Day" and wished them all the benefits in their chosen path.

Professor U.R. Yuldoshev in speech noted that today's conference is dedicated to the spring holiday of March 8 - Mother's Day. Until 2009, March 8 was celebrated in Tajikistan as International Women's Day, since 2009 this day has been celebrated as Mother's Day. The corresponding Decree was signed by the Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon. The Decree noted that the renaming of the holiday in the republic is carried out "in order to pay respect to the woman - the mother, the creator of life, the educator of generations, the mentor of young men and youth for the good way, the stable support of the family."

In one of the annual congratulations, the head of the republic, in particular, noted: "The holiday that we celebrate annually in early March has a hundred-year history, however, following the history of our great ancestors, the women's holiday is more than three thousand years old."

"Today, our independent state needs to resume national holiday forgotten for centuries - the holiday of mothers, and proudly prove that our ancient people have always respected the woman mother," the President of Tajikistan urges.

Also, in honor of this wonderful holiday, teachers of English and German with students of the 2nd year from March 1 to 6 held mini conferences at our department. Associate Professor Z.A. Mukhammadieva and senior lecturers of the department M.A. Kayumova. R.Radzhabov, G.Kh.Mirzoeva, S.K. Khamroeva, teachers M.D. Karimova, D.M. Najmiddinova, S.Yu. Mirzoeva and others in their groups held mini conferences that were very interesting and informative.

In general, all students performed with scenes, read poems by poets of Tajikistan and Russia dedicated to their mother.and admiration for women, the most beautiful creatures on earth. And the holiday itself on March 8 is perhaps the most beautiful of all official holidays. Why official? Yes, because initially it had a purely political color, it was not a holiday of spring, love and worship before magical creatures, but a day of struggle. The struggle of women for rights, for equality with men in everyday life, in the family and in life, for equal electoral right. But time wiped all the political husks from him, leaving this day in our calendar exactly what we present it today - a spring holiday of joy and gratitude to women mothers for what they are, for what we love them and on this day we wish them only happiness, joy and prosperity!

In speeches, teachers noted that being a mother is the most responsible and difficult work in the world. How many warm and kind words we did not say to our mothers, it will still be few. Mom is a wise adviser and a reliable friend. Mom is the best doctor of our mental wounds and grievances. Take care and love moms, do everything so that they can be proud of you, share all the joys and troubles with them, call them not only on weekends, but every day. Honor and respect all women, girls - expectant mothers, beautiful wives; love and take care of Motherland - mother, like the zenith of an eye.
