Recently, years, the attention of researchers has attracted the processes of free radical oxidation of lipids and reactive oxygen species in connection with their participation in the formation of pathological.
At the basic of the pathogenesis of many diseases is the accumulation of lipid peroxidation products and widely used antioxidants of vitamin A, C, E. For treatment the subject of our scientific research is "Studies of the state of lipid peroxidation processes and antioxidant system in various pathological processes". Employees of the department (Professor Saburova A.M) have proved that the antioxidant and antistress effect of vitamin E is realized not directly, but through the influence on adrenal metabolism. By regulating the functional activity of the adrenal glands, vitamin E leads to a reduction in the stress response, a decrease in the adrenaline release of the adrenal glands, prevents lipolysis and excess formation of free fatty acids, the formation of sex products and acts as an antioxidant. The Department of Biochemistry is a consultative scientific center. Scientific research is conducted jointly with the staff of the obstetrics-gynecology department №1, №2, №3 of internal diseases, №1, №2, pediatric surgery, childhood diseases.
Together with the staff of the Department of Obstetrics №. 2 (professors Abdurahmonov M.K. and Shukurova Z.P.) it was shown that during hestosis of pregnancy intensification of the processes of lipid peroxidation and reduction of the antioxidant system occur.
Usage of the antioxidant vegetable syrup "MAZ" low-laser radiation led to a faster leveling of symptoms, and reduced the length of stay in the hospital. The positive effect was exerted by the use of the phytoantioxidant MAZ and mexidol in the complex therapy of endometritis after delivery and cesarean section.
Together with the staff of the Department of Obstetrics № 1 (Professor Dodkhoeva M.F., Babaeva M.K.), an imbalance in the POL-AOS system was revealed, which is indicative of the manifestation of oxidative stress in pregnant women with a body weight deficit. As the free radical oxidation increases, the antioxidant system is reduced, the total protein is reduced, the body weight of children is decreased in term of pregnancy in a woman with a body weight deficit. The use of a complex of measures with the inclusion of protein nutrition, an antioxidant syrup containing vitamins E, C, A during pregnancy contributed to the improvement and decrease in the frequency of children birth with a low body weight from 30% to 13.3%
Working together with general surgery staff (professors Abdullaev D.A, Chakalov T.G.) the use of metabolic correctors Reamberyn in combination with mexidol in the case of thermal trauma contributed to a reduction in endogenous intoxication of AOS recovery, as well as a reduction in the periods of rehabilitation and stay of patients in the hospital.
Inclusion of Reamberyn (Professor Gulmurodov T., Edalieva H.B., Rakhimov H.R.) postoperative complex therapy, with congenital heart diseases, contributed to a decrease in the incidence of pulmonary complications
Currently, abdominal operations are complicated in 72% by bleeding and blood clotting disorders. In these cases, reinfusion is shown as one of the ideal ways to stop bleeding.
Together with the staff of the Department of Surgical Diseases No. 1 (Professor Kurbanov K.M, Rakhimov Sh.D.) with reinfusion of the blood of patients with abdominal injuries of whole untreated blood, LPO was intoxicated, AOS was depleted, bilirubin, urea, creatinine increased.
Purification of reinfused blood with the addition of antioxidants and antibiotics had the least toxic effect on the body and a more acceptable option for reinfusion.
Patients with calculous cholecystitis with diffuse lesions of the liver together with employees of the Department of Surgical Diseases No. 1 (professors Kurbanov K.M, Sagirboev K.R) revealed that a decrease in the ratio of respiratory coenzymes, intoxication of free radical oxidation, a decrease in enzyme and non-enzyme antioxidants.
Biochemical changes were the basis for complex medical therapy using antioxidant remaxol, which in its composition has succinate, increasing the speed of the Krebs cycle.
Together with the staff of the Department of Children's Diseases № 1 (Professors Ismoilov K.I, Sharipova M.M.), an imbalance in the oxidant-antioxidant system was revealed in children with bronchial asthma and pneumonia. In children during an attack of bronchial asthma, the content of the final product of the decomposition of lipid peroxidation, the malonic dialdehyde increases, the activity of the enzyme antioxidant-superoxide dismutase (SOD) decreases, the content of sialic acids in the blood increases, which contributes to the development of the immune-inflammatory process in the bronchopulmonary system.
The use of mexidol led to earlier elimination of asthma attacks, normalization of LPO and AOS values in serum. These drugs, being a trap for free radicals, contribute to an increase in the activity of antioxidants. In the presence of reamberyn and mexidol, activation of the succinic oxidase pathway of oxidation occurs, improvement of the energy-producing function of mitochondria, stimulation of direct oxidation by pentose-phosphate path. An increase in the level of the recovered nucleotides and thereby enhances the antioxidant defense of the cell. The sodium succinate contained in reambern and mexidol is the substrate of the Krebs cycle, which switches the oxidative reactions of tissue respiration to a shorter oxidation pathway.
Together with the staff of the Department of Pediatric Surgery (Prof. Sultanov Sh.R., Pulatov H.K., Babaev Z.A) study two groups of children with external high and low intestinal fistulas, as well as in children with urolithiasis.
Intestinal fistulas are more often formed after repeated in emergencies interrupting. It is established that as a result of oxidative stress, the antioxidant system is depleted. This was the basis for the prevention of complications after surgical interventions of complex pathogenetic medication with antioxidant reamberin. As a result of treatment, the decrease in LPO processes and the normalization of AOS are seen in patients with children.
Analysis of biochemical studies of blood serum in children with urolithiasis revealed the development of oxidative stress associated with LPO activation and AOS reduction, an increase in sialic acid. Oxidative stress promotes the development of the inflammatory process in the urinary tract, activates cells that cause the expression of cytokine genes, which in turn contribute to the misbalance of oxidant antioxidants, activating inflammatory cells that promote the formation of new stones. The use of antioxidants contribute to metaphylaxis.
Employees of the Department of Biochemistry with the staff of the Department of Pharmacology are working on a project on the topic "Study and development of medicines based on vegetable raw materials in Tajikistan, which have antidiabetic and antioxidant properties. From 2016 till 2020, a screening study of the antidiabetic and antioxidant properties of gamala (ispand), siyohalaf grass, quince leaves, root and nettle leaves is planned.
The influence of Rocembach's onion () on the pro- and antioxidant system in the case of lipid metabolism disturbance was studied. The results of the study showed that the content of triglycerides of low density lipoprotein (LDL), cholesterol and decrease in high density lipoprotein (HDL) increased in the blood serum of rats experimentally caused by lipid metabolism disturbance.
In the blood serum of rats treated with siyohalaf infusion, the content of triglycerides, LDL, cholesterol and increase in HDL content significantly decreased.
The results of the study showed that when the lipid metabolism is violated, in an experiment on rats, there is an intoxication of free radical oxidation, depletion of the antioxidant system.
The use of lean Rosembach onion (siyohalaf) helps reduce hyperlipidemia. Due to the large content of vitamin C in its composition, which, by interacting with water-soluble forms of oxygen and inactivating them, has antioxidant properties.
