At the XVII scientific-practical conference of young scientists and students with the participation of international representatives on the theme "Topical issues of modern scientific research", dedicated to "Twenty years of teaching and development of natural, exact and mathematical sciences in science and education" - 2020 - 2040, the section "Dentistry" was held at the university.

In the section’s work, which took place under the joint administration of local and foreign scientists, students and young scientists have been participated from the Republic of Uzbekistan, Russian Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan, Turkey and Azerbaijan.

Section of Dentistry session has been held in sections of Pediatric Dentistry, Therapeutic Dentistry, Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthopedic Dentistry and "Business Card" competition, where were presented 29 reports of young scientists and foreign and national students in the field of dentistry .

According to the results the best reports were determined and the winners were awarded with Diplomas and Certificates of honor and memorable gifts.

It should be noted thatrealization of international conferences at the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University has become a tradition, which contributes to improving the level and quality of medical services and improve public health.
