On March 20, 2025, the department of children’s diseases №2 hosted a conference dedicated to the celebration of Navruz—an ancient spring festival symbolizing renewal and rebirth. During the event, students presented their knowledge of the traditions and customs associated with Navruz and explored its significance in the contemporary world. The conference featured a presentation on Tajikistan's rich cultural heritage, emphasizing how Navruz fosters unity, strengthens friendships, and promotes mutual understanding among diverse communities. Navruz, meaning "New Day" in Persian, is a holiday that celebrates the arrival of spring and the renewal of nature. Its origins date back more than three thousand years to the era of Zoroastrianism, an ancient religion that spread across the territory of present-day Tajikistan and other regions. According to legend, Navruz is associated with the mythical king Jamshed, who established the holiday on the day when the sun entered the constellation of Aries, symbolizing the beginning of spring and nature’s renewal. In Tajikistan, Navruz remains one of the most significant and cherished holidays, celebrated with numerous traditions and customs.

In 2009, Na vruz was inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Subsequently, in 2010, the United Nations General Assembly designated March 21 as the International Day of Navruz. Today, this holiday serves as a symbol of peace, unity, and harmony among nations, while also fostering moral values, education, and creativity.

By 2025, Navruz continues to bridge generations. Grandmothers uphold traditions by preparing sumanak, while younger generations engage in contemporary celebrations, such as organizing flash mobs under the hashtag Navruz. The government arranges grand concerts featuring folk singers who perform falak, a deeply evocative melody that resonates with the soul.
