The Administration of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University consistently acknowledges the contributions of the institution's veteran educators and deems it fitting to honor their exemplary service during various ceremonies and commemorations.

On September 25, 2024, in honor of the 90^th anniversary of professor Nabijon Homidovich - a distinguished educator from the department of internal medicine of the University, a delegation visited to extend their congratulations. The delegation included c.m.s., associate professor Ahrorion Z.A., Vice-Rector for education, associate professor I.S. Odinaev, chairman of the University's trade union committee, and associate professor H.M. Mirzoev, a veteran educator. On behalf of the University’s Administration, Academic Council, and Trade Union Committee, professor Nabijon Homidovich was offered heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes for his recovery, longevity, and peaceful retirement.

We would like to highlight the remarkable contributions of professor Nabijon Hamidovich to the education and training of healthcare professionals throughout his distinguished career of over 60 years at the University. He is the author of more than 400 scientific works, including five monographs, 20 methodological guidelines, and 12 innovative proposals, all of which address various aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of internal diseases. These works continue to be highly valued by practitioners today. Under his mentorship, over 20 candidates successfully defended their theses, along with three doctoral dissertations. His exceptional services to medicine are widely acknowledged, with his recognition as "Excellence in Healthcare of the USSR" during the Soviet era standing as a testament to his influence. Since 1997, he has also been an affiliated member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (formerly AI RT).
