On March 4, 2025, with the aim of expanding and strengthening bilateral cooperation with higher education institutions in France, a meeting was held between the Rector of the University, d.m.s., Professor N.D. Mukhiddin, and the Ambassador of France to the Republic of Tajikistan, Her Excellency Ms. Elsa Pinol.

During the meeting, the parties discussed joint initiative and areas of cooperation between the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" and France’s higher medical education institutions. Both sides expressed their keen interest in fostering partnerships, emphasizing the importance of training highly qualified medical professionals, facilitating academic exchanges for faculty members and students, providing scholarships for postgraduate scientific studies, and exploring other relevant avenues of collaboration.

It should also be noted that Her Excellency Ms. Elsa Pinol visited the University's Center for Practical Skills, where she was introduced to the modern educational and practical facilities as well as the advanced equipment of the simulation center. Additionally, she toured the University Museum, leaving a heartfelt message in the Guest Book, expressing her appreciation and best wishes.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening international cooperation and fostering new opportunities for collaboration between the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" and higher education institutions in France.
