Dushanbe, May 12–17, 2025 — As part of the Erasmus+ BERNICA project and academic mobility initiatives, Dr. Kenesh Dzhusupov, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Public Health at the International Higher School of Medicine (IHSM), paid an official visit to Avicenna Tajik State Medical University (ATSMU).

During his visit, Dr. Dzhusupov delivered a series of lectures and master classes for students and faculty of the Department of Environmental Health. He also held productive meetings with representatives of the Departments of Environmental Health and Public Health to exchange insights and explore avenues for future collaboration.

In his capacity as the main coordinator of the BERNICA project, Dr. Dzhusupov conducted an on-site review of the implementation of educational modules developed under the Erasmus+ framework. He assessed the utilization of nutrition laboratories and examined the status of project-related financial documentation.

Additionally, Dr. Dzhusupov led a working session with local project teams to evaluate the progress of ongoing activities, address current challenges in project development at partner universities in Tajikistan, and outline key priorities for upcoming phases, including the preparation of the final project report.
