On March 28 and 29, 2024, in the lecture hall of the department of ophthalmology, professor of the department ophthalmology of Tabrez Medical University doctor Ali Mustafoi, who was on a working visit to SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University”, conducted a seminar on "Diagnosis and modern treatment of glaucoma" for interns and clinical residents. It should be noted that in addition to residents and clinical residents of the department, doctors from the ophthalmology department of SE "Shifobakhsh" also participated in the seminar. The seminar included a lecture and presentation on the nuances of diagnostics and treatment of glaucoma using modern equipment and methods.

At the same time, doctor Ali Mustafai together with the head of the department, associate professor Mahmadzoda Sh.K., the patients were examined in the ophthalmology department and received useful advice. It should be emphasized that holding such scientific-practical gatherings at the department, especially with the involvement of interns, clinical residents and young doctors on the topics of the use of modern technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, to further improve their level of knowledge and helps its implementation in medical practice.
