This event, organized by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, which took place from December 9 to 12, 2024.

The event provided an excellent platform for an in-depth examination of current issues related to infectious diseases, framed within the context of the latest advancements in medical science and practice. Esteemed experts from CIS countries, Europe, and the United States, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis, as well as acute respiratory, intestinal, parasitic, and fungal infections, presented at the forum.

Professor Rahmnov E.R. delivered a presentation on "Clinical and Epidemiological Features of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever in the Republic of Tajikistan." In his presentation, professor Rahmanov offered a thorough analysis of the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), a persistent public health concern in several regions. The professor also highlighted the historical emergence of this infection in Central Asia.

The participation of professor Rahmanov E.R. and Assistant of the Department Vohidova A.P. in the forum provided a unique opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of infectious diseases. They highlighted that such events not only contribute to the professional development of healthcare professionals but also strengthen international collaboration in combating infectious threats. In the context of globalization and increased population mobility, it is crucial to consider the transnational dimensions of infection spread.

The forum also addressed critical issues related to disease prevention, diagnostics, and novel treatment approaches, which are particularly relevant given the ongoing emergence of resistance to antibiotics and antifungal agents.

Thus, the Third International Infectious Diseases Forum served as an important platform for discussing the current challenges in the field of infectious diseases, underscoring the need for a multidisciplinary approach to enhance the effectiveness of prevention and treatment strategies.
