November 12, 2022 at 16:00 at the Department of Medical Biology with the basics of genetics among the 1st year students of all faculties the first round of the Olympiad in Biology and Economic Geography of Tajikistan with the basics of demography of the University was held. 98 students of Biology subject and 16 students of Economic Geography of Tajikistan with the basics of demography registered for participation. Out of this number of students, only 5 students in the subjects of biology and economic geography of Tajikistan with the basics of demography will be admitted to the second round.

It is worth noting that in the academic year 2021-2022 a student of the university became the absolute winner of the national contest "Promotion of science and knowledge" in the nomination "biology". This year the university student was sent to the republican round.
