Today, the Center for the Study of Practical Skills operates in the structure of the Tajik State Medical University named after Avicenna. The Center was established to create a safe, reliable educational environment for the study of professional skills, to provide students with conditions for the development and maintenance, improvement of professional competence, introduction of simulation technologies in medical education as part of the implementation of the Concept of the Reform of medical and pharmaceutical education, approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2008 and the relevant acts of the university, a Center for the study of practical Skills was created in the structure of the university. The main goals of the Practical Skills Training Center of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University are to provide a favorable learning environment for the study of clinical skills, the possibility of forming, developing and supporting the competence of the clinic, providing a reliable information environment for effective clinical and communication training and implementing the principle of lifelong learning. At the Center for Practical Skills Training of the Tajik State Medical University named after Avicenna took into account the long-term scientific and practical experience of world medicine, in which training was established on the basis of four rules of simulation training. It should be noted that if in 2013 students were trained in the center only 47 practical skills from 7 clinical specialties, today more than 400 types of professional and communication skills from 10 clinical specialties are trained to students. The Center's employees regularly engage in professional development with the participation of language scientists from medical universities in Calgary, Chicago and Karjand. The Center for Training Practical Skills of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University cooperates with the Russian community for simulation training in ROSOMED and ROSMEDOBR in Moscow( Russia), the non-profit joint-stock assembly "Caribbean Medical University" Of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other medical and diagnostic institutions. The Center for Training Practical Skills of the Tajik State Medical University named after Avicenna is equipped with new and modern medical devices. To promote the activities of the Center, a new, modern simulator with extensive capabilities "LE–ONARDO START" was developed. This device has extensive capabilities, including being measured at pressure, cornea, pulse in the lower extremities and neck, increased power or cardiovascular noise, as well as underwater injections, air charging, and purple catheterism. A simulator of indirect heart movement and artificial respiration is also possible. "The health of the nation is the state wealth," the leader of the nation, the respected Emomali Rahmon, stressed in the field of public health protection, and this is the main focus on the work of the employees of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University. It should be noted that the Tajik State Medical University named after Avicenna plays a valuable role in the training of highly qualified, talented and talented specialists.
