TERRORISM: A THREAT TO SOCIETY AND NATIONAL SECURITY

When examining the philosophy of terrorism and extremism, it becomes evident that these phenomena fundamentally pose a threat to individuals and their cultural identity while seeking to impose foreign ideologies on society. To achieve their objectives, proponents of terrorism and extremism employ various means, including terror, warfare, violence, hatred, and other destructive mechanisms. As manifestations of radicalism and ideological subversion, terrorism and extremism often aim to undermine national sovereignty and statehood. In this context, it is imperative to resist the influence of external models of governance and statehood that may not align with national interests. Instead, nations should assert their unique political and social frameworks on the global stage. Under no circumstances should foreign systems—disguised as religious or democratic principles—be allowed to infiltrate and destabilize the country.

Meanwhile, certain politicians residing abroad are observed attempting to destabilize the country by leveraging foreign influence to disrupt the peaceful lives of its citizens. These individuals pose a significant threat to populations in various Muslim-majority regions by establishing terrorist organizations, recruiting young individuals into these groups, and executing destructive activities. Wherever they find opportunities globally, they prioritize the creation of terrorist strongholds over economic development, replacing progress with drug production and trafficking networks.

Through such actions, extremist groups deprive people of stable employment and coerce them into joining military camps, where they are trained for armed conflicts. Within these camps, under the guise of religious instruction, young individuals and even children are indoctrinated with extremist ideologies and inhumane practices. However, with each passing year, the awareness of the true intentions of these groups and their sponsors continues to grow in Muslim-majority countries, leading to an increasingly resolute and intensified fight against them.
