Celebrating Youth Day in Tajikistan at the TSMU
Youth are the continuators of the older generation, a creative force and a real potential for the progress of society, a promising and leading part of the Tajik state and nation. That is why today the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan support youth policy and value the significant contribution of young people in all vital spheres. In particular, the involvement of the younger generation in the study of historical heritage, formation of national identity and self-consciousness stems from the special attention of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon to the revival of recognition of national and state values. The head of state Emomali Rahmon in his speech at the meeting with the youth of the country on May 23, 2013 emphasized: "Indeed, today our youth are recognized as the great creative force of the country. Therefore, we have declared solving problems and issues in the lives of adolescents and young people a strategic and priority direction of the state's social policy".
The youth of Tajikistan are entitled in honor of their wise, peace-loving, creative and honest ancestors, and the state and government are constantly taking effective measures to support this creative and prosperous part of society.
According to the legislation on public holidays in the Republic of Tajikistan May 23 is designated as the Youth Day of Tajikistan, and every year this day is celebrated in the country with the presentation and appreciation of youth achievements.
Today at the Abu Ali ibn Sino Tajik State Medical University was held a solemn event dedicated to Youth Day with the participation of the Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Sports Rakhmonzoda Abdullo, Chairman of the Committee on Women and Family Affairs Kurbonzoda Khilolbi, head of the Youth and Sports of Dushanbe Shohzod Rahimzoda, management and professors and students of the university and other guests. The guests and participants, in turn, spoke, emphasizing the state support for young people and the various aspects and further development of their lives.
The event was attended by the rector of the university, d.m.s. Professor Gulzoda Mahmadshokh Qurbonali in his speech congratulated the participants on the Youth Day and recalled the state policy and support for youth, in particular he emphasized: He noted that "we live in the third millennium and a century of unprecedented progress in science and technology, that is, an age in which all aspects of life are governed by literacy, knowledge, science and technology. The study of science and knowledge, especially science, mathematics, accuracy, and mastery of the profession, is the only and correct way to keep up with the times and ensure the development of the state and society." In this regard, the university has created all the conditions for the study of science and knowledge and mastery of the medical profession, and the work continues.
Rakhmonzoda Abdullo, Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Sports, who spoke at the event, noted that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in his annual address to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan addressed the issue of support and encouragement of talented and educated youth.Touching patriotically and self consciously, that is the future generation of the nation and state, they spoke: ready for any threats and dangers against the state and nation and take national interests above any other.
We are proud of our honorable young people and will continue to take all necessary measures to address their issues.
In fact, favorable conditions have been created for the activities and life of young people. Young people have the necessary conditions to make our beloved Tajikistan prosperous and beautiful with their talents, professional skills and intellectual knowledge. As our country develops day by day, there is a growing interest in technology as the main focus of the country's development. In this context, it is natural that the reliance of the state and society on the intellectual potential of young people is closely linked.
In 2021-2022 academic year, students of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University took part in the Republican Olympiad among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan Khamdamov Ahlidin, a 5-year medical student, 2nd place, Farukhi Sheroz, 4th year, philosophy, 2nd year, medical student, Nurov Golibjon, 4th year, political scientist, preventive medicine 2nd place, Russian language Hamidova Madina, 1st year, medical student 2nd place, Tajik language and literature Homidov Izatullo, 4th year student of medical faculty 3rd place, English language Khaidarova Sabrina 5th year medical student took the 3rd place, Odinazoda Sobir 5th year physics student took the 3rd place. In the republican contest "Invention and rationalization" Kiyomiddin Mirov, a 5th year student of medical faculty took an honorary place.
Administration of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University with the approval and implementation of the Action Plan "Youth Week of Tajikistan" at TSMU and make a valuable contribution to the further development of their lives. Dedicated to the Youth Day and the Youth Week at the university, the competitions "Best Young Scientist of the Year", "Youth Invention of the Year", "Best Reader of the Year 2022" on reading the book "Tajiks in the Mirror of History. Emomali Rahmon, "The Best Reader 2022" by reading the book "Tajiks" by Bobojon Gafurov, "The Best Propagandist of National Culture", "The Best Student of the Year", "The Best Department of State Youth Policy Assistance", the best article and essay on the topics "The Leader of our nation - the pride of the nation", "Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan", "Doctors - the guarantee of national health", in which students and young people participated in the university.
Students of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University also took part in international Olympiads and other national, city, district and university competitions and won honorable places. Today's event, dedicated to the Youth Day, presented the achievements of students and winners of Olympiads, their leaders, and was marked by the leadership of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University with gratitude and memorable presents.
The main goal of state youth policy and their support in the Republic of Tajikistan is to help create and strengthen the legal, intellectual, physical, economic and organizational conditions for the study of professions, modern sciences and the prosperity of our homeland - peaceful Tajikistan.
