STUDENTS' VISIT TO THE UNIVERSITY MUSEUM
In accordance with the directives of the department of education, and with the aim of fostering students' self-awareness and enhancing their knowledge of the history and achievements of the University, on April 3, 2025, third-year students of the medical faculty, under the guidance of instructors from the department of pathological anatomy, along with second-year students of the same faculty, accompanied by teachers from the department of human anatomy named after Professor Ya. A. Rahimov, visited the University Museum.
The primary objective of the museum is to identify, collect, catalog, research, document, preserve, utilize effectively, organize, and enhance the university’s museum collection. It also aims to address museum-related issues, develop specialized programs, and showcase the university’s achievements to both domestic and international visitors.
The museum’s main exhibits are dedicated to the history of the university’s establishment, its academic departments, the scientific and athletic accomplishments of its faculty and students, collaborations with national medical universities, and international partnerships.
Several rooms have been established, including the Presidential Room, the Room of Rectors’ Achievements, and the International Cooperation Room. Each section is organized by thematic region, and the corridor has been designed to feature displays highlighting the university’s scientific schools, complemented by modern lighting systems.
It is worth noting that this initiative provides students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the history and accomplishments of the University and to deepen their knowledge in this field.
