May 25^th , St. Petersburg delegation have visited Avicenna Tajik State Medical University. The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Rector of the University, d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadsho Qurbonali. During the negotiations Rector informed about the university and outlined on cooperation of ATSMU with Russian medical universities, particularly, with medical universities and research institutions of St. Petersburg. On the part of the head of delegation the aims of visit and achievements of St. Petersburg health care system were announced. The head of the delegation then gave a lecture to senior students about the St. Petersburg health care system, the results of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the reorganization, digitalization and innovations that are being implemented in St. Petersburg and the Russian Federation in the field of health in the wake of the pandemic.
