At the Department of Foreign Languages ​ ​ of the SEI "ATSMU " from April 12 to 17, 2021, a student scientific and practical conference was held on the life and activities of Academician BobodzhonGafurovichGafurov and his book "Tajiks."

The conference was attended by students of 1 and 2 courses of all faculties and curatorial groups.

The conference was opened by the head. Department, Professor U.R. Yuldoshev. He greeted the participants and listeners, wished them success in their studies and research activities.

In his speech, Umar Rakhimovich noted that the spiritual and moral education of student youth, on the example of the life and activities of prominent famous scientists with a world name, allows you to form patriotic consciousness, high feelings, moral and will qualities, love for your people. Their fruitful work is an example of hard work and dedication.

U. R. Yuldoshev emphasized that in his Address to MajlisiOli, Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rakhmon at the end of December 2019, highly appreciating the activities of the Hero of the Republic of Tajikistan, academician B. G. Gafurov and his book "Tajiki," emphasized: "In this regard, the Government of the country is instructed to reprint the fundamental work of Academician BobodjonGafurov "Tajiki" at the expense of the President's Fund of the Republic of Tajikistan and to distribute the book "Tajiks" as a gift from the Head of State to every family in the country.

It is encouraging to note that for many years the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, distinguished President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon attaches great importance to the memorialization of the great sons of our people, and also directly participates in the organization and holding of anniversary dates of cultural and historical centers. All this is done so that the young generation grows up in the spirit of patriotism and love for the Motherland, honors its great ancestors, respects the state symbols of the independence of the Motherland.

Professor U.R. Yuldoshev gave the floor to students. In their interesting and informative scientific performances, students spoke with great enthusiasm about the life and activities of B. G. Gafurov and noted that B. Gafurov, like hundreds of his peers, stubbornly studied, worked, participated in public life. On May 10, 1946 B.G. Gafurov was elected the first secretary of the Central Committee of the RC (b) of Tajikistan. Great organizational talent, great principle, the ability to work with people were fully revealed by B. G. Gafurov as the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, on which he was for more than ten years (1946-1956).

Teachers M.R. Nazarova, H.I. Khayrova, S.A. Khotamova, M.A. Kholmatova, Z.I. Sharipova, O.A. Lysykh, D.H. Sultonov, AliyevaN.Sh. and others noted in their speeches that the accumulated historical luggage, honed skill of research In 1947, his book "The History of the Tajik People in Brief" (in Tajik) was published. This was the first generalizing work on the history of one of the oldest peoples of Central Asia. The author was able to highlight the most important and significant issues, to outline the main stages of the education and development of the Tajik people.

Thus, teachers Z.A., Mukhamadieva M.A. Kayumova, R. Radzhabov, G. Kh.Mirzoeva, S.K. Khamroeva, D.M. Najmiddinova and others emphasized in their speeches - a valuable book by academician BobodzhonGafurov " This book draws a line under the new stage of the development of Soviet oriental studies in the field of studying one of the most ancient peoples of Central Asia - the Tajiks. The book of Academician B. .Gafurov "Tajiks" received a positive assessment of many outstanding scientists far beyond the borders of our state.

The homeland highly appreciated the merits of B. G. Gafurov to the people of the Republic of Tajikistan - noted U.R. Yuldoshev. For active state, socio-political activity, great merits in the development of Soviet oriental studies, he was awarded orders and medals.

By a decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan E.S. Rakhmonov dated September 8, 1997, B.G. Gafurovwas awarded the highest award of the Motherland "Hero of Tajikistan."

Thus, it can be summed up that the activities of academician B. Gafurov as a major scientist, researcher of the life and history of the Tajik people, public figure, leader, hero of the Republic of Tajikistan, his invaluable works are a vivid example of the implementation of positive aspects of morality for student youth and have a positive impact on the formation and worldview of the young generation.
