Regular cleanup initiatives are being conducted at the ATSMU
Human habitat encompasses various aspects of the natural environment that are crucial for human health. The administration and staff of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University place significant emphasis on preserving environmental cleanliness and fostering a conducive educational environment. To this end, collective meetings and clean-up initiatives are organized weekly on Saturdays.
August 10, 2024, as part of the University's action plan, a comprehensive cleanup initiative was conducted with the participation of the University’s departmental staff and various structural units. These included the “Shifobakhsh” educational complex, the main administrative and educational building, the Educational and Scientific-Clinical Center “Stomatology,” the Institute of Fundamental Medicine, the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Center, the Educational and Scientific-Production Center “Pharmacy,” as well as dormitories located on Rudaki, Sino, Ismaili Somoni, Sanoi, Samad Ghani, Shukufon, and Alisher Navoi streets within the Ismaili Somoni and Sino districts of Dushanbe.
During this event, the surrounding areas of administrative and educational buildings, alleys, ditches, and corridors adjacent to the University, as well as the neighborhoods of nearby multi-story residential buildings, were thoroughly inspected and cleaned. Participants in the initiative also arranged and maintained trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns, and ensured the cleanliness and moisture of the lawns, alleys, streets, and roads adjacent to the University.
