September 1st is celebrated as the day of knowledge
The seemingly endless three months of summer pass by swiftly, and then arrives the day when all students must embark on a new academic year. September 1st marks the beginning of a new chapter, a fresh stage in life. Consequently, this day is imbued with an atmosphere of celebration and joy.
September 1st Knowledge day is a holiday dedicated to students, teachers, flowers, friends, and smiles. It is a particularly significant occasion for first-graders, as it marks their very first school celebration. Today, they are eagerly awaited at school, stepping into a completely new world filled with their first teacher, their first lesson, their first classmates, and their first grades.
For students, this day will always evoke memories of the scent of new textbooks, the feel of school uniforms, and the excitement of bright backpacks and pencils. The school is adorned with colorful balloons and ribbons, and the sounds of music and the principal’s parting words resonate from afar.
Traditionally, all educational institutions across the country conduct ceremonial assemblies on this day. Teachers encourage students to strive for academic excellence and prepare themselves to serve the nation with honor.
Today's gathering, marking the start of the new school year and the Day of Knowledge, was held in the newly constructed building of Secondary General Education Institution №19 in Dushanbe, one of the country's largest educational facilities. The institution offers exceptional conditions for the pursuit of knowledge and academic studies.
