SCIENTIFIC-THEORETICAL CONFERENCE ON THE THEME: "ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES AND SOURCES OF ITS POLLUTION".

The scientific-theoretical conference of students on the theme: "Changes in the environment and sources of its pollution", dedicated to "2020-2040 years of development of natural, exact and mathematical sciences" was held on  8th,  April, 2022 in the lecture hall №1 of New training complex of ATSMU.

This conference was attended by: the head of the University Department of Science c.m.s., Associate Professor J.J. Jamolova, professor of the department of medical and biological physics with the basics of information technology Shermatov E.S., head of the department of physical chemistry, Ph.D., Associate Professor R. Sharipova, chief supervisor of histology department Z.J. Ziyoeva, a group of first and second year students and teachers of the department of medical biology with the basics of genetics.

One of the serious international problems of the 21st century that worries the world is climate change. According to predictions of scientists, this trend was observed in the 20th century, the main cause of which was anthropogenic and periodic factors. During the last decade, 1,000 glaciers were destroyed due to climate change in Tajikistan. Over the last 5-6 years, the intensity of natural disasters in Tajikistan has increased by 25%. Climate change leads to global warming.

At the scientific-theoretical conference, students' creative work on this topic was presented in the form of reports, models, posters, crosswords and ekibans. Students made presentations on "Climate Change and Environmental Consequences," "Biodiversity," "The Importance of Water and Human Health," and "Acid Rain," as well as recited poems praising nature. The cultural part of the forum also included a concert program.
