Today, December 16^th , 2022 in the National Library of Tajikistan, in connection with the completion of the fourth period of the country program of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016-2022 and the presentation of a new (fifth) Fund program for 2023-2026 in Tajikistan, a working meeting was held, where the Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagoni Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri, First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population Ghafur Muhsinzoda, First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, the First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan were presented.

It was said that the UNFPA Country Program for 2016-2022 is implemented in close cooperation with the Ministries of Economic Development and Trade, Health and Social Protection, Education and Science, Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee on Work with Women and Families under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and other relevant ministries, departments and committees have been adopted and implemented, and during its implementation a number of significant results have been achieved.

At the meeting, representatives of a number of relevant ministries and agencies of the country spoke about the implementation of the UNFPA Country Program and the results of this program.
