PARTING WORDS FROM THE LEADER OF THE NATION

On March 9, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon met with active representatives of the public, scholars and religious figures on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan in Kokhi Vahdat.

At the beginning, the Head of State sincerely congratulated all participants of the meeting and all people of the country on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan - the month of piety, mercy, forgiveness of sins, and gave specific instructions to responsible persons to eliminate the shortcomings in this area.

The leader of the nation, respected Emomali Rahmon once again spoke about the process of implementation of the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Ordering of Traditions, Celebrations and Rites in the Republic of Tajikistan" and "On the Responsibility of Parents for the Education and Upbringing of Children" and demanded from the public of the country strict compliance with the provisions of the laws.

As it was emphasized, unfortunately, there are cases of law violations in connection with the events. Some people still allow wastefulness in the conduct of events.

It was pointed out that ostentatiousness, wastefulness and non-compliance with certain norms and measures of folk and religious traditions and customs, among others, hinder the improvement of the living standards of the people. Recalling the commandments of the Koran and hadiths of the Prophet, it was emphasized once again that the Almighty does not like wasteful people.

During the meeting, the head of state, respected Emomali Rahmon drew the attention of those present to the multiple trips of citizens to hajj and umrah, emphasizing that it is obligatory for believers to perform hajj only once, and the Prophet of Islam (s) himself made the pilgrimage only once.

In this regard, it was suggested that those who wish to make the pilgrimage for the second and third time can act in accordance with the commandments of the Shariah, spend money on a decent life for their family, education of children and grandchildren, improvement of the country, construction of enterprises and schools, roads and bridges, as well as to help and support orphans, homeless, disabled, sick and low-income families, and receive immeasurable rewards and goodness.

The head of state instructed the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and other relevant state structures to carry out explanatory work to fulfill the instructions given at the meeting to ensure the rule of law, prevent any crimes, offenses, waste and excesses among the population and take concrete and timely measures.

Other instructions were given to the representatives of the country's public to educate the younger generation on the path of self-knowledge and patriotism, to create modern educational institutions, various social and economic facilities, to comply with the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Ordering of Traditions, Celebrations and Rites in the Republic of Tajikistan" and "On the Responsibility of Parents for the Education and Upbringing of Children".

The Head of State, respected Emomali Rahmon called on the public of the country, observing the good traditions of ancestors, to pay special attention to the completion of creative and constructive measures, to the proper organization and arrangement of the hajj and umrah ceremonies, to the performance of charitable works, to help the needy, orphans and the poor, to care for their parents, brothers and sisters on the eve of holidays.

President Emomali Rahmon emphasized that in the realization of our national and religious values, we should always take care of the interests of the Tajik people, appreciate the independence of our state and show gratitude for this priceless blessing.

It should be noted that all the exhortations of the Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon on charity, support for low-income families, orphans and the homeless, frugality and regulation of campaigns and rituals are taken from the best educational precepts of the Holy Quran and hadiths of the Prophet, the purpose of which is to guide people to a prosperous life.

At the meeting also a number of intellectuals, scholars and religious figures, speaking about the valuable goals of the leadership of the state and the Government of the country, the mandatory implementation of laws and legal provisions, as well as other pressing issues of the society, and expressed their solidarity and support for the concerns and benevolent demands of the Leader of the nation, the respected Emomali Rahmon.
