Participation of young applicants in the II online international student Olympiad "Since the teachings of Avicenna to the third period of Renaissance"
January 21st - 22nd, 2022, the 5th year students of the Faculty of Dentistry Bobobekova Aziza, Ibragimov Shodmon, Nazarova Mehrangez, Makhmudov Komronjon, Yusufzoda Mukhamad and Davlatzoda Golibsho have participated in the II online international subject student olympiad in therapeutic dentistry of Bukhara Medical Institute named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino. Together with the students, the dean of the dentistry faculty, candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Yuldosheva Umeda Pulatovna, Head of the department of therapeutic dentistry candidate of medical sciences Yorakov F. M. and associate professor of the department of therapeutic dentistry Tokhtakhodzhaeva Saodat Tupalonovna.
The first stage of the online contest has lasted 60 minutes , in which students had to solve 25 test questions within 25 minutes of therapeutic dentistry. Out of 80 participants from the different universities , only 20 (40) students successfully passed to the second round, in which were all our students. In the second stage, within 5 minutes, they answered clearly and specifically to a question and solved the situational issue and in the third round, they shared techniques for performing practical skills provided on the ZOOM platform in 5 minutes.
During the Olympiad, our students showed themselves well-rounded and active. Yusufzoda Muhamad received the nomination of “Best student in solving situational issues “ and everyone obtained the participation certificate in the II online international subject student Olympiad of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abuali ibn Sino “Out of teachings of Abuali ibn Sino to the third period of the Renaissance”.
We express our gratitude to the Dear Rector of the State Educational Institution “TSMU named after Abuali Ibni Sino”, doctor of medical sciences, Professor Gulzoda Mahmadsho Kurbonali and the rector of the Bukhara State Medical Institute Teshaev Shukhrat Jumayevich, who provided very good conditions for the participation in the International Olympiad for students and mentors. The main purpose of the Olympiad is to popularize knowledge in various fields of medicine and to provide opportunities for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a pandemic environment.
