On November 28, 2024, the State Institution "National Library of Tajikistan" hosted an International Youth Conference titled "Strengthening Multilateral Cooperation to Prevent Youth from Joining Risk Groups." The event was organized at the initiative of the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, as part of efforts to implement the "Strategy for Counteracting Terrorism and Extremism in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" and the "Strategy for State Youth Policy until 2030." Employees, educators, and volunteers from the SEI "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" actively participated in the conference.

The conference focused on the exchange of methodologies and best practices among countries, the establishment of new partnerships to enhance multilateral cooperation, and the formulation of recommendations to prevent the recruitment of youth into extremist groups. Experts, activists, and representatives from various institutions and departments contributed their insights on these issues. In this context, the head of the department of education of the University Murodov Sh. D., delivered a report titled "The Role of Educational Institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan in Preventing the Joining of Youth into Extremist Groups."
