National unity’s day of Tajikistan
Starting June 19th to 21st 2022, at the propaedeutic department of children's diseases of SEI "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" under the supervision of the docent of the department Abdullaeva N.A. and assistant Razokova K.R. were conducted open lessons on the theme: "The Day of the national unity of Tajikistan" with the participation of staff members and students 1- 2 and 4 groups of the 3rd year students of medical and pediatric faculties of the department. The presentation was conducted by students Tagdirshoeva A. and Sayfiddin K.
National Unity Day - as a holiday, is established in accordance with the Decree of the President of Tajikistan and enshrined in the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan of May 22, 1998 "On Holidays" and Article 83 of the Labor Law of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is celebrated annually June 27th . National Unity Day is one of Tajikistan's main holidays. Recall that the civil war in Tajikistan is an internal armed conflict between supporters of the central government and the united Tajik opposition that followed the proclamation of independence of the republic as a result of the collapse of the USSR. This confrontation brought citizens nothing but great grief and loss. Families broke up, people fled in search of salvation, leaving their homes and loved ones behind. This war was called fratricidal, because then even the best of friends suddenly turned out to be enemies. National Unity Day marks the end of the bloody civil war (1992-1997) and reconciliation of the warring parties. After the signing of the peace treaty, President Emomali Rakhmon of the Republic of Tajikistan established a corresponding holiday. National Unity Day is designed to remind the younger generation of what a price peace in the republic was achieved and how important it is to preserve it and prevent internal conflicts in the future. The holiday is named National Unity Day because it symbolizes the unity of the Tajik people, the cohesion into a single nation. It is a holiday of reconciliation of the entire population.
