On March 31, 2026, a meeting was held at Avicenna Tajik State Medical University between the university administration and representatives of the People’s Hospital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China. On behalf of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, the meeting was attended by members of the university administration headed by the Rector of the University, Professor Muhiddin N.D., as well as representatives of the leadership of the above-mentioned hospital headed by Professor Zhang Wenfeng.

During the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop bilateral cooperation in the field of medicine, the training of highly qualified specialists, and the exchange of experience. They also emphasized the importance of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the interests of both sides.

During the discussion, the administration of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and the delegation of representatives of the People’s Hospital of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region expressed hope for the further expansion of fruitful cooperation and exchange of experience. The parties exchanged views and look forward to the beginning of successful cooperation that will contribute to the implementation of many useful and effective initiatives for both sides.
