"Migraine is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. Its risks are easy to manage with proper treatment and prevention. Disseminating knowledge about migraine disease and conducting educational courses, such as workshops led by qualified medical professionals and physicians, is one of the most important ways to prevent this disease.

With the same goals in mind, as well as strengthening cooperation and strengthening academic exchanges, at the initiative of the management of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and the department of neurology, psychiatry and medical psychology named after Ghulomov M.Gh. Dr. Leila Renatovna Akhmadeeva, professor of the Department of Neurology of the State Medical University of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa city was invited to the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and under the guidance of this distinguished specialist March 9^th , 2023 a master class on “ Migreny” was conducted with the participation of assistants, doctoral students and clinical interns. At the master class, Professor Leila Renatovna Akhmadeeva explained the causes, symptoms, types, prevention and treatment of migraine and discussed in detail various new factors for its prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

As a reminder, Migraine is a type of headache that is usually felt in one part of the head. It has been suggested that repeated migraine attacks may cause brain damage that contributes to stroke. Current research confirms that migraine is a risk factor for ischemic stroke - the more frequent the attacks, the higher the risk.

Thus, such educational and informational events actively contribute to improving the knowledge of doctors and citizens about the disease Migraine and effective ways to prevent it.
