MASTER CLASS IN HONOR OF INTERNATIONAL BREAST CANCER DAY

MASTER CLASS IN HONOR OF INTERNATIONAL BREAST CANCER DAY

In honor of International Breast Cancer Day, the Department of Roentgenology and Radiology held an educational and practical master class for first-year residents.

The event was organized by Head of the Department of Radiology Saifiddinzoda M.B. and Assistant Nazhmuddinov Kh.Kh. who demonstrated modern methods of radiation diagnostics of breast diseases. During the master class, participants learned the principles of mammography, ultrasound, and the interpretation of diagnostic images for various forms of pathology.

Following the practical part, the faculty and residents visited the Mammology Department, where they met with N.K. Gayratova, Head of the Department. During the discussion, N.K. Gayratova spoke in detail about modern methods of fighting breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of early detection, preventive screening, and public awareness of risk factors for the disease. Such events not only enhance the knowledge and practical skills of residents, but also instill in young doctors an awareness of the high social significance of work in oncology diagnostics.

International Breast Cancer Day, celebrated annually on October 15, serves as a reminder of the need for regular preventive screenings and the combined efforts of physicians across specialties to preserve women's health.
