As part of the bilateral cooperation agreement within the academic mobility program, from April 18 to April 30, 2025, the “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” hosted Zhannat Orazmukhametovna Zhakiyanova, Head of the Department of Neurology, Ophthalmology, and ENT Medicine at the Semey Medical University.

Over the course of two weeks, Zhannat Orazmukhametovna conducted a series of lectures and practical sessions for medical faculty students in the discipline of Otorhinolaryngology. The course covered key aspects of ENT medicine, allowing students to acquire up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in the field. A total of 30 academic hours were delivered, encompassing both theoretical instruction and hands-on training.

This visit marked an important milestone in the implementation of the academic mobility program and contributed not only to the broadening of students’ academic horizons but also to the strengthening of scientific ties between the medical institutions of the two countries. We look forward to continued collaboration and exchange of experience with Semey Medical University in the future.
