October 3^rd and 4^th of this year in the ancient city of Samarkand of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held an international conference of urologists under the title "Critical problems of urology: unity, theory and practice", in which a number of teachers and young scientists from the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University also participated and discussed important topics of the field.

It is a pleasure that at this conference, young scientist Kavrakov Toshmohamad won the first place in the urology section and was awarded with certificates and awards. Kavrakov Toshmuhamad gave a scientific report on "Percutaneous nephrolithotripsy in children", which was highly appreciated by the teachers and scientists of the field. Also, at the end, the young scientist Kavrakov gave specific answers to the questions of the participants.

It should be reminded that Kavrakov Toshmuhamad is a 2^nd year resident of the University in the urological department, under the guidance of scientists - doctor of medical sciences, professor of the Department of Pediatric Surgery Ibodov Habibullo, doctor of medical sciences, professor of the Department of Urology Shamsiev Jamoliddin and candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the Department Sadulloev Farhod have conducted research in the field of science.

It should be emphasized that representatives of more than 20 countries of the world, including Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, also participated in this conference.
