In accordance with the scheduled plan, members of the 3rd-year Student Scientific Club, under the supervision of Bahromov M.B. and in collaboration with laboratory staff, conducted training and instructional sessions in the surgical department of the ICU and surgical practice. These sessions focused on the study of surgical techniques and the preparation of the surgical field. Additionally, two surgical procedures were performed on experimental rabbits, specifically addressing the topic "Laparotomy: Examination of the Hollow Organs of the Peritoneum and Appendectomy." In accordance with the laboratory's annual activity plan and to prevent the rise in skin diseases and insect infestations during the hot season, all experimental animal rooms were disinfected with Creolin at the prescribed dosage. The disinfectant was applied both inside and around the experimental animal rooms, ensuring full implementation of sanitary measures.
Throughout the week, third-year students of the Faculty of Pediatrics attended practical sessions at the Laboratory of Morphology, Physiology, and Pathology of Endothelia to enhance their theoretical knowledge and practical skills. During the visit, they familiarized themselves with post-operative biomaterials, including dolichosigma, fistulas, uterine fibroids, cervical cysts, and BSS. Additionally, they acquired proficiency in handling modern medical instruments. Senior Researcher, PhD, and Associate Professor E. Kh. Tagoykulov provided students with an overview of the laboratory's history and explained the objectives and classifications of histopathological research. During the sectioning of postoperative specimens, students gained insights into tissue pathology. Additionally, they received comprehensive information on the macroscopic examination of the presented samples.
