21st Century Medical Science - A Look into the Future
The 67th International Scientific and Practical Conference of the SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” with the participation of foreign representatives, entitled "The XXI Century Medical Science - A look into the future" and the 80th anniversary of the University is an evidence of the development of scientific and practical relations of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and various foreign universities.
The conference was attended by representatives of more than 20 countries, including Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, India, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Switzerland and Turkey, along with national scientists and political figures.
The Rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University Professor Gulzoda M.Q. opened the conference work and greeting speeches was made by the Deputy Mnister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, President of the Academy of Sciences and Academy of Medical Sciences.
The following issues were discussed in the conference:
1. History of pediatric services and the contribution of pediatricians in its development;
2. Contribution of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University’s Surgions in science and protection of applied health in the Republic of Tajikistan;
3. Scientific achievements of ATSMU scientists in the field of midwifery and gynecology;
4. Assessment of functional status of organism - fundamentals of preventive medicine
In the six sectional sessions of the conference, 157 reports were reviewed and discussed by local and foreign scientists with the participation of more than 70 scientists and representatives of scientific, educational and medical institutions of 20 foreign countries.
Collection of eight hudred and eighty scientific papers of conference materials are presented in three volumes. As well, 280 materials of representatives of foreign countries were collected separately. All papers as materials of the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: "The XXI Century Medical Science - A look into the future" 2021) were published in honor of the "Years of Rural Development, Tourism and Crafts" (2019-2021) and the 80th anniversary of the University, and was offered to a wide range of students.
At the end of the conference, the Conference Resolution was adopted with the aim of applying the achievements of modern medicine in the practice and educational process.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity - The Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, declared 2019-2021 “The Years of Rural Development, Tourism and Folk Crafts”. The development and improvement of the tourism industry will be aimed at meeting the needs of domestic and foreign tourists and will provide quality services that will attract more foreign visitors to Tajikistan. That is, the interconnection of the most important issues of medicine, environment and health and intercultural dialogue in the development and improvement of international tourism attracted the attention of conference participants.
