HEALTHY NUTRITION IS A PART OF THE HUMAN HEALTH
Currently, 8.9% of the world's population or about 690 million people suffer from lack of access to healthy food. In addition, 144 million children under the age of five suffer from stunting and 47 million are underweight and anemic.
Unfortunately, the society of the Republic of Tajikistan has not escaped these types of diseases. To date, children and adolescents in Tajikistan are suffering from such diseases as anemia, stunting, underweight and liver diseases, which are said to be caused by micronutrient deficiencies in food.
That is why the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan so far has a number of laws, programs and strategies in the direction of providing the population with healthy nutrition, such as the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the safety of food products", "On providing the population with fortified foods", "Strategy of nutrition and physical activity in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2015-2024", "Strategy for the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases and injuries in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2013-2023", etc., which will increase the level of nutrition and physical activity in the Republic of Tajikistan.
HEALTHY NUTRITION AND ITS ROLE IN HUMAN HEALTH
In 2019, the United Nations has declared June 7 as World Food Safety Day. The purpose of declaring June 7 as World Food Safety Day is to draw the attention of the international community to nutrition and, in this context, to improve the health of the world's inhabitants. It should be said that food safety is about people's access to food and everyone should consume food wisely and sustainably. It should be remembered that food safety mainly depends on various interrelated areas namely health, trade, agriculture, industry, tourism and environment. Any product that people buy and prepare food from today should take its expiration date seriously. Expired products can cause all kinds of diseases, including cardiovascular diseases.
The right foods contain different types of nutrients. Including proteins, fats, vitamins and carbohydrates, which leads to a number of positive and negative situations when there is a decrease or increase of food items in the body. It is important to note that a person can maintain a healthy state of health by following a proper dietary regimen.
According to industry experts, everything a person consumes affects their appearance and mood. Every person should ensure that they follow the right diet and pay serious attention to their health on a daily basis. In terms of proper food consumption, we should pay close attention to the right way to consume food, including how to consume food and the number of calories in the food we consume.
It should be noted that more than 600 million 100,000 people contract all sorts of dangerous diseases due to eating the wrong foods, and about 42,000 of them die.
UNHEALTHY NUTRITION - THE CAUSE OF OBESITY
Along with the continuous development of science and technology and the achievement of unique scientific and practical achievements of world medical science, the emergence of more and more new infectious and non-infectious diseases poses many problems for mankind, and the increasing incidence of obesity among people of society is considered one of the new problems in this direction.
The disease of obesity, which today is considered one of the new problems in the field of world medicine, unfortunately, has not bypassed the society of the Republic of Tajikistan. In order to combat the above disease and reduce the prevalence of obesity throughout the country, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has taken many practical measures to prevent the disease of obesity, and the realization of the set goals allows to regulate the severity of this disease among the population.
According to the World Health Organization, about two billion people over the age of eighteen are overweight. Of these, about six hundred and fifty million are obese. Today, according to the findings of medical experts, obesity in Tajikistan is increasing every year.
According to medical experts, the causes of obesity are various, and the first factor of exposure to this disease is gluttony and consumption of unhealthy food. At the same time, bad habits that become a factor in the development of obesity are smoking and excessive alcohol consumption. Moreover, it should be said that obesity has a genetic factor. If parents are obese, there are prerequisites for the development of this disease in their children.
Health is a rare gem and efforts should be made to protect it. The consumption of unhealthy food, which can be the basis of a number of diseases in the human body, remains one of the key problems of the world community.
