Avicenna Tajik State Medical University receives guests from Kazakhstan
From December 19 to December 20, the days of Kazakh medicine were held in Dushanbe. In the framework of the days of Kazakh medicine, the rector of the State Educational Institution “Avicenna Tajik State Medica University”, MD, professor M.Q. Gulzoda received the rectors of medical universities in Kazakhstan: MD, professor T.S. Nurgozhin (KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov), MD, professor R.S. Dosmagambetov (Medical University of Karaganda), MD, professor D. Pavalkis (Medical University of Astana), MD E.T. Zhunusova (Medical University of Semey) and candidate of medical sciences B.K. Nurmasheva (South Kazakhstan Medical Academy). During the meetings, further cooperation with Kazakh universities was discussed for joint projects in the field of medical education and medical science. The merit of Medical University of Karaganda in joint projects, which have been going on for almost 10 years, was especially emphasized. In this regard, Mahmadshoh Qurbonali Gulzoda addressed the Karaganda Medical University a strategic partner of Avicenna TSMU.
In order to consolidate the outlined joint plans, the rector of the State Educational Institution “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University”, doctor of medical sciences, professor Mahmadshoh Qurbonali Gulzoda signed four memorandums with Kazakhstani educational and research institutions. The first memorandum was signed by the rector of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarova, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Nurgozhin Talgat Seytzhanovich; the second memorandum was signed by the rector of Medical University of Semey, doctor of medical sciences Zhunusov Yersin Tursynkhanovich; the third memorandum was signed by the director of the RSE at the Polytechnic Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, doctor of medical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Badpenov Nurlan Dzhumagulovich; the fourth memorandum was signed by the director of JSC “Scientific Center of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mirzakhmetova Dinara Dosalyevna.
