“We, the youth, are the builders of society and the driving force of the country”.

From the words of the Leader of the Nation, it is understandable that all the achievements of the state – raising the flag and strengthening the recognition of our independent state in the international arena are closely connected with the efforts and dedication of young people.

“Young people, who make up seventy percent of the population of the country are the driving and leading force of society, and everything depends on how this immense power is used. This force can be both constructive and destructive”.

Thanks to the strong leadership, wise decisions, persistence, and courage of the Leader of the Nation the country has been saved from threat of disaster; the civil war was ended, the refugees returned home safely, and the country was rebuilt. Soon after his election, the ruined cities and towns were rebuilt, major development and construction projects were started across the country, and roadways were built to connect all parts of the country and all of the Tajik people. Throughout the years of Independence, significant attention has been devoted to young people, and broad opportunities have been created for them.

Fortunately the President of the republic and the leaders of the various establishments support educated and active young people, providing them with all modern conditions. The care of the Leader of the Nation for youth is boundless. The founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon says: “We are proud of our creative youth, because the young

people of our country’s Independence era today, with national honor, and dignity, worthy initiatives, and a high sense of patriotism, make a valuable contribution to the development of our beloved Tajikistan and serve their Motherland faithfully». It means that we should not be indifferent or ungrateful toward the kindness and care of the Leader of the Nation, and we should strive to be the standard-bearers of our dear and proud state.
