EXTREMISM MEANS A TOOL FOR DESTROYING LEGITIMATE AUTHORITY

EXTREMISM MEANS A TOOL FOR DESTROYING LEGITIMATE AUTHORITY

In general, extremism was initially used by religious movements as a tool to overthrow communist power, because religious people saw the strengthening of communist power in Tajikistan as the main danger to themselves. If we consider the issue of extremism more broadly, extremism as a worldview phenomenon denies any disagreement, tries to firmly establish its system of political, ideological and religious ideas and imposes them on others by any means. When discussing their views, extremists do not rely on reason, but on people's emotions and prejudices, put forward slogans and appeals aimed at the primitive consciousness and emotions of the masses.

The ideology of extreme actions creates a special type of participants in political actions, who tend to lose control over their behavior and are ready to violate social norms and laws by any action. Extremists are characterized by reliance on the actions of the crowd, the gathering of people with an emphasis on the simplest models of social structure and behavior. Let us recall remind that in our country in the 1990s a system of countering the practical application of extremist and terrorist acts was created and effectively operated. Within the framework of this system in the country there was carried out a set of works on directing legislative measures, fair fight against extremist offenses, counteraction to distribution of drugs, extremist literature, firearms and explosives. Like any other undesirable phenomenon, extremism arises where the rule of law breaks down into crises. Therefore, the analysis of the motives of criminal behavior of their members is of great importance both in the study of the causes of the emergence of the complex and multifaceted phenomenon of "extremism" and in the practical activities of resistance to extremist organizations.

Regarding the dangers of this factor, the Leader of the nation, His excellency Emomali Rahmon, has very well observed that "extremism manifests itself in a relatively wide range. Among them are religious extremism, ideological extremism and political extremism. Various forces, contrary to the country's society, have tried to forcefully impose their models on Tajikistan, which is another manifestation of extremism."

Terrorism and extremism as a negative process for the progress of society in the period of independence requires a systematic study of the problem. Therefore, within the framework of the study, first of all, it is necessary to list the main factors in the development of this phenomenon. These phenomena include, first of all, the process of naming extremism and terrorism, the use of political technologies, the construction of the institutional system, its ideological support, the process of politicization of extremism and terrorism and other areas of their activities.
