"Emomali Rahmon is one of the founders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)", under this name, today in Dushanbe, within the framework of the chairmanship of the Republic of Tajikistan in the SCO, was held in 2020-2021, which was attended by representatives of ministries and state institutions, research institutes, knowledgeable and experts.

According to the correspondent of NIAT "Khovar" Marzia Saidzoda, the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Tajik National University were invited by the organizers. The purpose of the conference was to assess the role and contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, to the creation, formation and development of the SCO and to review the creative initiatives of the Leader of the Nation within this organization.

     The conference discussed the contribution of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the creation of the SCO, political initiatives, security, economic and humanitarian initiatives of the leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon within the SCO, the role of the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon in the expansion of the SCO, the initiatives and contribution of the leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon to the consideration of issues of peace and stability in Afghanistan within the SCO, the contribution of the leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon to the development of multilateral diplomacy of Tajikistan within the SCO, the role of the Leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon in the formation of a positive image, "Shanghai diplomacy" is considered as an achievement of the foreign policy of the Republic of Tajikistan during the period of state independence, the role and status of the SCO in the new international system.

     At the beginning of the conference, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Intelligentsia noted that " over the past three decades, over the years of protecting true independence, founding and strengthening the foundations of national statehood, forming a democratic and legal society, establishing sustainable development of the country through all political and social reforms, national and cultural revival of the Tajik people, the Republic has consistently implemented a multifaceted policy. As a result of the implementation of the proven foreign policy strategy of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, which is known as the "open door policy", Tajikistan has acquired a worthy status on the world stage. From this point of view, the formation of the national statehood of the Tajik people and the revival of its status and role on the world stage are inextricably linked with the work and determined efforts of the leader of the nation. In this regard, we emphasize once again that by holding such events at the level of the republic, the international full-fledged activity of this devoted and devoted son of the nation is carried out.”

   It was noted that with the awareness of the need to revive the country's worthy position on an international scale, the President of the country identified Tajikistan's cooperation with international and regional organizations in order to join the global development processes of the world community and express the republic's opinion about them as one of the most important sectors of foreign policy and makes a significant contribution in this direction. The most important of them is cooperation with the SCO, which Tajikistan will establish partnership relations with the member countries, uses the platform of this organization to evaluate and promote international and regional solutions.

   This year marks the 20th anniversary of the creation of the SCO, that Tajikistan, headed by the leader of the nation, is one of the founders of this authoritative regional and international organization, makes a direct contribution to its formation and development and has been making a lot of efforts for its development and expansion for twenty years.

   Since the establishment of the SCO, the Head of State has identified several priority areas in Tajikistan's relations with this organization, one of which is the sphere of regional security, in which the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism and drug smuggling is of particular importance. Because we were well aware that Tajikistan, as a sector of the world community, has been in the center of attention of such global dangers and challenges, and some of them, such as transnational crime and environmental problems, since the first years of its independence. Therefore, the republic could not restrain the trends of world development and the solution of its effective problems. With this in mind, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, within the framework of the SCO, should strive to ensure that this influential organization, through multilateral cooperation, plays a significant role in political and economic processes and in the security of today's world, so that through this, the solution of security issues, socio-economic security of the region is coordinated with a set of international-level events.
