EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR DEDICATED TO THE CELEBRATION OF PRESIDENT'S DAY AND FLAG DAY
On November 21, 2024, the department of Russian language hosted an educational seminar dedicated to two significant national observances: President's Day and Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan. This event aimed to enhance students' political and legal awareness while fostering a sense of patriotism among young people.
The seminar was attended by prominent faculty members and administrators, including the deputy dean of the faculty of medicine and prevention Nosirov E. educational work inspectors Ayubova S., Rabiqov H., and Mirzojonova M. the head of the department of Tajik language, Nizomova S.F. a teacher of the department of Tajik language, Jurabekova F. and senior instructors from the department of Russian language.
The head of the department of Russian language, candidate of pedagogical sciences N. Sh. Aliyeva delivered a welcoming address, extending her congratulations to the attendees on these important national holidays.
In her speech, she highlighted that President's Day and Flag Day in the Republic of Tajikistan are significant state holidays, instituted to commemorate the pivotal contributions of the Head of State to the nation's development and the consolidation of its independence and sovereignty.
Subsequently, the speech was given to Yuldoshev U.R., professor of the department, who also extended his greetings to the attendees. He emphasized that these distinguished and symbolic dates underscore the central role of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon in fostering national unity, safeguarding independence, and advancing the sustainable development of Tajikistan.
Further remarks were delivered by associate professors M.R. Nazarova and Z.S. Samadova who noted that the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan proclaimed November 16 as President's Day and November 24 as State Flag Day. This decision reflects his deep respect for the ancient and rich heritage of the Tajik people and his pride in the sacred homeland. They highlighted that November 24, 1992, marks the formal adoption and official approval of the national flag, symbolizing the emergence of an independent Tajik state. Each year, this historic event is celebrated with great reverence.
Students from groups 6 and 10 of the medical-preventive faculty, under the supervision of N. Sh. Alieva and S.I. Eshanova actively participated in this seminar. Their engagement demonstrated a profound sense of patriotism and devotion to the Motherland through various activities, including singing the national anthem, reciting patriotic poems, and conducting a quiz. The quiz focused on significant historical dates and the works authored by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, which encapsulate his perspectives on Tajikistan's development and its influence on global politics.
