Please accept my greetings on behalf of the management of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and myself on the eve of the 19^th Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students with the participation of foreign representatives under the title "Youth and Innovations in Medicine: Building Tomorrow - Today".

This conference promotes the development of scientific activity among young people and is a good proof of the aspiration of young scientists and students to master their future profession in modern conditions.

The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan pays great attention to the issues of youth policy, education and training, integration of science, education and production. The process of integration of various levels and organizational forms of education and science is a trend gradually covering all countries of the world, including Tajikistan. It is not without reason that in recent years there has been much talk about the development of forms capable of combining scientific and educational potential.

The mechanisms of education and science integration implemented in our country create a good basis for further innovative development in all fields of medicine. Under these conditions, Avicenna Tajik State Medical University is responsible for uniting stakeholders around common work and thus creating a space for exchange of ideas, knowledge and mutual cooperation.

I am confident that today's conference will give additional impetus to deepening integration and regular involvement of scientific potential of young scientists and students in addressing scientific issues of medical development in our country.
