On March 28, 2024, at the department of propaedeutics of children’s diseases of the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University", a clinical conference on the topic: "Febrile convulsions in children" was held by the staff of the department, together with doctors of the 7^th pediatric somatic building of the State Institution "Istiqlol medical complex". The presentation was prepared by clinical residents of pediatric neurology department Sharifzoda Z. and Saidaliev Sh., who presented in detail the mechanism of febrile convulsions in children, emphasizing the main causes of occurrence and risk factors with modern classification. The presentation was accompanied by slides reflecting the main issues of clinical manifestations of this pathology with the presentation of a clinical case of patient M., 9 months old, who was hospitalized at the State Institution "Medical comples Istiqlol" in March 2024. Special attention was paid to etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic methods, as well as differential diagnostic criteria and the main methods of treatment, prevention of patients with febrile convulsions, as well as the most common complications.

       In conclusion, given the relevance of this pathology in children, many questions were asked, to which comprehensive answers were given, and a discussion was held.
