Avicenna Tajik State Medical University presented 21 inventions in 2022, most of which are related to various operations and antimicrobial drugs. The rector of the University, d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali have told to journalists during a press conference today.

He said that every invention occurring in the field of medicine is published in all world journals and cannot be plagiarized.

"The invention which were presented by the university related to diagnosis and treatment will serve to increase the level of treatment of patients as well as reduce the level of morbidity among the population" he added.

It was noted that Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and the educational programs of the specialties of the university fully passed international accreditation, adapted to the standards of the World Federation of Medical Education and have a certificate of compliance.

It was reported that the management of the university has established mutually beneficial cooperation with more than 72 scientific and educational institutions and foreign organizations, and to date the university has been cooperating with foreign countries such as Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, India, Moldova, China, Turkey, Italy, etc.

Rector of the Medical University, d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali said that last year 2 bilateral agreements were extended and 12 bilateral agreements were signed.

"As part of the implementation of these contracts at the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, academic exchange programs, summer schools and joint scientific and practical research are regularly implemented. Under the academic exchange during the reporting period 19 students of the university were sent to the Izhevsk State Medical Academy to continue their studies in the spring and fall semesters", - has emphasized the rector of the university.
